Medical Biotechnology

Initially rolled out in our Mentorship Program, our Medical Biotechnology Curriculum is designed for advanced students with a background in biology. With content adapted from Dr. Toni-Marie Achilli’s lectures at Brown University, our curriculum gives students an in-depth look at cutting edge biotechnologies that are pushing the boundaries of patient care.

Regenerative Medicine

This three-part series includes 1) Stem Cells, 2) Tissue Engineering, and 3) Current Applications.

Gene Therapy and Gene Editing

Learn about the techniques researchers are testing to edit our genes, stopping disease before it even begins

Mending Broken Hearts

This lecture has three parts: 1) Coronary Heart Disease and Stents, 2) Pacemakers, and 3) Mechanical Replacement of Cardiac Function

JMA Mentorship Program

A brighter future starts with understanding higher level academic material, acing your standardized tests, being on top of the college application process, and getting the scholarships you need to afford that education. Unfortunately, there’s little-to-no guidance here for millions of students from disadvantaged backgrounds, further perpetuating cycles of poverty.

But, we’re here to change that; one mentee at a time.

Join our Mentorship Program as a mentee to gain guidance or as a mentor to provide guidance.
