Yes! We are an accredited 501c(3) nonprofit (EIN: 81-3374490). You can and should write these donations off on your tax returns so you can help these students for little-to-no cost to you!
does jma pay take any of the money?
No! We are thankful to have a wonderful volunteer force that cares much more about our students more than the money in their wallets. This emans that we can operate with no paycheck cost, and direct 100% of your money to the students who need it most!
what if i only want to support a specific cause?
Great! You can specify the cause in the “comment” section, and let us know! We pledge to honor all requests and use your money for the exact purposes that you wanted (be it supporting local schools or international schools; COVID relief projects, or educational enrichment, etc).
How does the covid relief project work?
We work with a student activist network in Ghana (VOTM). We work with their network and help with allocating volunteers to bulk purchase, store, and disseminate: water, PPE, gloves, masks, sanitizers, and more to our target locations! (Like orphanages and schools for the deaf and blind).
