3 WAYS THAT YOU CAN TAKE ACTION NOW

Spread the Word

If you want to join the movement to make education more accessible and empower our next generation, share this website with your peers to help JMA reach as many students as possible. Please help us spread the word through sharing this website and following us on social media. The more schools we can reach, the more students we can help to follow their avid love of science and become the doctors of tomorrow! Start by sharing it on Facebook Now!

Donations

Donations are always appreciated to keep JMA running and offer quality materials to help give students the best educational experience possible. At the end of the year, 100% of any excess proceeds get donated directly to the American Cancer Society, the single largest organization working to help fight all types of cancer by funding research and helping those in low-income have access to affordable treatment. Together we can fight cancer and inspire more children!

Open Your own Chapter

JMA is dedicated to spreading free access to a quality Biological Education nation wide. If you are a motivated highschool student with a strong passion for Biology and the Medical Field anywhere in the world, we strongly encourage you to take action in your own community and start your own local chapter! Chapters can be made at local Elementary Schools as after school clubs, or at homeless shelters/Foster Care/or any other organization tending to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

We have laid out 4 main things for you in our documentation that we will provide:
1. Biology Curriculum: This includes each powerpoint and document us and our team of 50+ volunteers have used and refined over the past 3 years. In addition, there are some “Session 0” materials for you to use throughout the years (like the syllabus sheet to give to schools, a crash course on Cell Bio for students hoping to skip a division, and all our Jeopardy links.

2. Class Transcripts: Key summarizations of the main lessons which require more review at home. These should be emailed to parents and can be printed out and handed to students if needed.

3. Teacher Guides: Our custom tailored teacher guides, listing step by step, how to teach each lesson, what to say during each slide, what specific analogies to make, and what to draw on the board. This should be the ultimate resource for beginning teachers, as it tells them exactly how to teach. This also includes a “Session 0”

4. Start My Own JMA Chapter: A step by step guide on how to start contacting schools to make a JMA Chapter, how to sustain the JMA Chapter, and ways to manage volunteers, students, parents, and principals (if at a school) or advisors (if at an organization liek a homeless shelter or foster care) of your location.
